Why Choose Smiles4Miles...Our goal is to make a positive and lasting difference in each child’s life. We pride ourselves on instilling good values in the children that visit our center, which means teaching them what it means to be nice and kind to one another; having empathy, learning to apologize, and share. Additionally, we teach children to have respect for themselves, their parents, and their classmates.
The first years of a child's life help lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development to follow. Through nurturing and individualized attention, we take great care to provide a warm and fun environment for your child, while ensuring they receive the guidance and structure they need. |
Our Relationship With Your Child
We strive to nurture your child's ideas and imagination, acknowledge each child's individuality, and validate each personality. Our goal is to provide a place where children know that they are accepted, loved, protected, and wanted which helps to instill a strong sense of self-worth and purpose. Our job is to make sure that each child has numerous positive experiences and interactions throughout each day. It is our hope that when the day is done they feel happy and proud of themselves and eager to express the happenings of their day to you.
Our Relationship With You
We focus and care about the relationship and trust that develops between parent and educator. We pride ourselves in providing parent’s peace of mind which is why we understand that it can be difficult to leave your child in the care of others and can appreciate the trust you put in our facility on a daily basis. Therefore, our goal is to build your trust by being professional, dependable, honest, and most importantly caring for your child the same way we would want our own children to be cared for.
We feel that open communication between parent and provider is an important part of our shared relationship, which is why we are committed to creating a strong bond with you and your child, helping to ensure the best start to your child's life. Our goal is that you feel completely confident and reassured when you leave your child in our care.

COVID 19 PROTOCOLS
If your child feels ill we suggest you keep them at home in order to help them recover quicker, as well as reduce the risk of infecting other children. We temperature check all children before they enter the facility, and monitor both children and staff for any symptoms of cold or flu.
Cleanliness
We take the well-being of your child very seriously and work hard to provide an environment that is as healthy as possible. We are committed to keeping our facility and the children in it as clean as possible, in order to help minimize and/or prevent the spread of germs.
Hand Washing
Hand washing is the single most effective practice in preventing the spread of germs. We wash our hands many times throughout the day, as well as the children's hands before and/or after engaging in any necessary activities.
Disinfecting
Our facility is kept clean and disinfected at all times. We thoroughly clean surfaces that children come in close contact with using soap and water, or Lysol, etc. Toys and play tables are cleaned and disinfected often.
Hand Sanitizer
We have hand sanitizer outside the entry door. We encourage all parents to do the following before entering and exiting the daycare. Doing so will help keep outside germs from coming in and prevent inside germs from going back out.
